There were more people who attended the auction. Though our average was down from 2008 ($2500.00 on 39 head)
our no sales were lower (7 our of 39 head). There was an excellent mix of young horses, well started young horses,
finished horses and broodmares. The quality and the condition the horses was way above average and they were all
presented extremely well. The preview on Friday again gave a brief showing of all the horses in the auction and
afterwards there were several people who tried out a consigned horse or went back to the stalls to inspect a horse and
talk with the consignors. We are planning on having another auction in 2010 on. We want to thank the consignors for
bringing such nice horses in such good condition and presenting them so professionally. We would also like thank
those who attended and the new owners of the horses. We believe that they all went to good homes and wish the new owners
much success with their new purchases. We enjoy working with Bill and Terry Addis as our auctioneer and office manager.
